It’s been a long time coming, but the Kindle ebook version of Echoes of Light, my debut fantasy novel and the first in the Luminous Legend trilogy was released yesterday on Amazon. It’s at the very affordable price of just $.99, which I intend to keep permanent. It’s my first big work and I’d like as many people to read it as possible, so no reason to charge serious money for it. I’m much more concerned with getting exposure than I am cash.
The print version, for those interested in a hard copy, will be available I’m assuming within the next 1-2 weeks. My good buddy Josh who did the cover design is finishing up the spine and back-cover design, and should be done later this week. I don’t know how long it takes for Createspace to print the physical versions, then, but I’ll do an update on here as soon as those are available. I won’t be able to do any kind of discount on those, unfortunately, but it shouldn’t cost much more than $10-$15.
Right now I’m in complete promotion mode. I’m beginning an absolute campaign of Tweets boasting about the book, and submitting the book to as many book advertising websites as possible to get the news out to the world. Earlier today the book was listed by Good Kindles. The page for Echoes of Light can be found here – http://www.goodkindles.net/2014/07/echoes-of-light-book-one-of-luminous.html
Later this week, then, I should have a listing with January Magazine, and hopefully plenty more as I continue submitting it to various outlets.
Until then, I hope you check out the book, whether it’s the Kindle or print version, and if you have the opportunity, I humbly ask if you can write just a short review for it on the Amazon page for it. The more reviews, the more attention it’ll get. Thanks for all of the support!
And here’s what the front cover ended up looking like –
