One of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in putting together The Legend of Light trilogy didn’t have anything to do with writing, or even the story, itself. Collaborating with my cover artist, Pam Hage, was the kind of work I’ve dreamed of doing since I was a little kid watching behind-the-scenes featurettes on DVD extras for such films like Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings, seeing how concept art builds the eventual imagery that audiences see.
In the land of Tordale, magic is as diverse as the many living beings which call the continent home. Different forms of the intangible energy can allow one to accomplish a seemingly-boundless variety of feats that could not be achieved by hand or willpower, alone.
